The interview

Arrived SPA, Kuala Lumpur at 7.45am (ingatlah sangat awal mana tahu semua orang sudah sampai). Someone brought us to level 2 for registration. Two rooms were allocated for the interview, 10 in each room. So, the first person went in and her interview took bout 35 mins. the second person took bout 20-25 mins and it was my turn. Nervous giler! When u enter the room, remember to give them ur sweetest smile possible (nola, jus kidding)

Kah Yee: Selamat pagi
Pengerusi: So, u r Lim Kah Yee?
Kah Yee: Yep
Pengerusi: So, tell me more about urself
Kah Yee: Nama saya Lim Kah Yee. Saya merupakan anak sulung. Blah Blah Blah (trying my very best to speak in Bahasa Melayu)
Pengerusi: Any reasons for studying pharmacy? why not medicine? or dentistry?
Kah Yee: Sebab saya mempunyai minat yang mendalam dalam subjek chemistry dan biologi. Selain itu, saya takut darah (actually, this is the MAIN reason...malulah nak beritahu..lol)
Wakil: So, which field are you interested in? Before that, tell me what are the fields available?
Kah Yee: *scratches head* saya kurang pasti..erm, hospital farmasi, klinikal farmasi, penguatkuasaan...saya nak berkerja sebagai hospital farmasi...
Wakil: Which department are you interested in?
Kah Yee: Oh no, cudnt thk of anything...so i went on saying saya kurang pasti again followed by i wish to interact with patients...
Wakil: Ward pharmacy? We have outpatient, etc etc...
Kah Yee: Yes yes *nodding my head*
Wakil: Is it ok if we send you to Tawau? Saya pernah bekerja di sana. Bagus! We should send you there so that u can learn bout our culture..
Pengerusi: Yea, we should send you there because you have been staying in KL ever since you are born. If all of you want to stay in KL, there wouldnt be enough place for all of you. *laugh*
Kah Yee: Sweat! Er, sangat jauh saya tak ada kereta...
Pengerusi: You are serving the government. We have the right to send you there.
Kah Yee: Kalau tak ada pilihan, kena pergilah (reluctant betul)
Wakil: So, kalau kami hantar kamu ke sana pun ok kan??
Kah Yee: I have no choice but to say yes. OMG! Matilah kali ini. i hope they wont take this seriously cz they told everyone the same thing *fingers crossed*
Wakil: IMU focus on??
Kah Yee: Sebenarnya, IMU tidak memberi tumpuan kepada akta dan undang-undang di Malaysia. Kami belajar tentang undang-undang di UK sahaja.
Wakil: Do you know that you have to sit for forensic exam?
Kah Yee: Yea, i know
Wakil: How did you know bout the exam? Do you know when do you have to sit for it?
Kah Yee: Tahu menerusi IMU and have to sit for the exam during our first year.
Wakil: No. You have to sit for it before u start work.
Kah Yee: Oh ok. Sweat! Really? I dont think so...lol
Pengerusi n wakil: Thank you.

Lucky me cause the interview took me approximately 15 to 20 mins. It wasnt as bad as i thought and it was more like a 'sesi berbual-bual'. They were nice. Waited till 12 pm for our offer letter. Haha.

The dinner was a great one. Itallianies should be a very peaceful and romatic place unfortunately, we turned it into a *pasar malam* like place. Only our voices could be heard. Imagine! lol. I think the waiter must be kinda pissed off with us cz we were too noisy and we kept asking him to take pics of us.

I vividly remember, 4 months ago when i was in deep sense of despair. I should say that was the hardest time in my life. Nothing can be done but to accept my fate for he has his reasons for this.

I learnt to appreciate you more. When i was lost in total darkness, u reached out ur hand to guide me. support me. love me. I cry and you comfort me, Im lost and you hear my scream. You are always there when i needed you. I cant imagine how hard it would be without you by my side. Thanks for being so supportive! You are the best ever.

Monday morning, i walked out with a smile on my face. I aint confident. Finally, it was over and i hope m done with it. *Fingers crossed*

Xmas in Glasgow, Scotland wasnt that bad after all. What matter most is whom are you celebrating it with. Guess this was my first time celebrating Christmas without my dearest family. I miss all of you so much!!!

Both of us went out for last minute shopping on Christmas eve and guess wat v found? O.M.G! Roast drumstick for only 10p! On top of that, v get another pack for free cuz it's buy one free one. Cheap at twice the price man!

Since nobody was at home, both of us saje-saje decorate the house..you know, to make it more Christmasy! Hehe..Anyway, this took us less than 15 mins.

Cam-whoring..Hehe

Daphne invited my hsemates and i to her house for dinner on Christmas. The food were delicious. I especially love the roast pork. It goes so well with the sauce. *Drool* After the dinner, we sang Xmas and also other songs..had lotsa fun =P

Unbelievable! I jus cant imagine myself getting my lazy bum off my bed at 5.30 am on Boxing Day! First experience wut! We were the very first three person to be there! Sweat! Actually, the crowd and the sale werent as great as i thought. Anyway, i managed to get few tops for myself =P It was about 1pm when we headed home.

Had Xmas dinner with my lovely hsemates + neighbours on 27/12.

Menu of the day:

5kg roast turkey

Mushroom with blue cheese

Bacon and sausage roll (pig in blanket according to lee yin)

Brocolli

Potato and tuna salad

Chocolate eclairs

It took more than 3 hours to roast the turkey! After the satisfying meal, it's time to exchange gift! I've got a very nice necklace from Joey, thanks dear! Hui Ming got my gift which were a pair of glove and socks from dorothy perkins. Hope u like it gal.
