...2/5/09... My Big dAy celebration with Kajang buddies... together with Liang & Huan's Birthday...

Instead of Sing K & Clubbing which we oways do, we made it a warm gathering among us (special thx to ZhaoYin who planned this)... since everyone started working, it's really not easy to have a chance to gather & chit-chat, sharing experience among each other...

So, PeiYing, ZhaoYin & Yenying followed my car & v reach Ole-Ole Bali @ Sunway Pyramid 7pm sharp... waiting for the other car ie Liang etc for 1 hour... so paiseh & hungry ok until we beh tahan of da waitress's way of staring us so we ordered starter & appertizer to eat 1st...

Then hor, when Liang reach adi, smore told us he passed by Bkt Jalil got da feeling of ffk us n go watch LeeHom's concert... zhao dao or not u tell me...

This is indeed a very happy night with them since I came back from Glasgow...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAU WEE YEAW !!! Stay lengzai ya... ngekngek...

Took a day of on my bday, so I got a total of 4 days off (30/4/09-3/5/09)... kinda shy to tell my perceptor the truth of the reason I took off... so I bluff her that it's my relative's wedding... haha...

ZzZzZZZzzzz until 11am... (would have zzz even longer if I've not promise Dear to fetch her @ HKL (she also took half day off, as if my bday is very important haha...) get ready & go to fetch dear fr HKL... very de jam lo, took me 2 hrs to reach Dear's hse from HKL... by the time v finished our lunch, it's already 3pm... Dear still need to bake cake before our dinner... & she also need to handle da KWSP thg... n she also need to make up for da dinner... n she also etc etc etc... (make me afraid of becoming a clinical pharmacist aikss so busy) haih... byebye ZARA clearance @ the Curve... =(

Thn hor, tht ZARA clearance was actually still in our mind... with her permission, v went to the Curve to have a look... oh my god... it's a disaster... very mess lo the place... but stuffs are real cheap... didnt get anythg tho...

We are not good in taking nice photos of food, but trust me, it's very delicious... Wanted to try dessert but their offers are weird... eg Ginger plus chocolate ice cream... Asparagus and cheese cake etc... We were not brave enough to thy all these stuffs...

In a glimpse of an eye, we are celebrating our 3rd valentine's day. I believe there are more to come.

Without Roses, Chocolate & Valentine's day pressie, she was given a treat at Gobo Upstairs Lounge & GrillL @ Traders Hotel, KLCC. We decided to c'brate valentine's day a week earlier due to the unacceptable increase in price at restaurants in Hotels & bar around KL; plus unavoidable traffic jam in KL on valentine's day... but i know she won't mind...

Reservation was made well in advance, so we were greeted as Mr. & Mrs. Lau once we arrived (I know she is very happy to hear that... haha). We were given a table facing Exxon Mobil Building, where the place she sat can see the night view of Nikko Hotel & some other buildings.

Complimentary bread was served with truffle butter... warm... very nice... beat the 1 we ate at Toni Roma's a month ago...

Starter:

Dear's: Hokkaido scallop... nice... for the very 1st time i think scallop in western style can be as nice as scallop in chinese cuisine...

Mine: Brandy flamed lobster bisque with chocolate oil... It was so nice !!! Perfect when it was eaten with the complimentary bread...

If we weren't in this kinda highclass restaurant, i might lick the plate again & again...

Main course:

Mine: Beef short ribs (Signature dish of Gobo if I'm not mistaken). I think the chef marinated it with some strong liquor & it was well cooked till the extend that the meat fall off from the bone automatically. superb...

Tiramisu was not bad, but I prefer the one Dear baked in Glasgow (beat 5 stars hotel's cake). Haha... Besides, the presentation also not nice...

Our night didn’t end here… we headed to SkyBar at level 33 of Traders Hotel after the satisfying meal, where we can see the great night view of KL city.

I ordered ‘Moto’ d Or’ & Dear ordered ‘Lychee Rose’ – Signature drink of SkyBar -- both sux !!! ‘Moto d Or’ is like a paediatric cough mixture plus orange while 'Lychee Rose' tasted like normal alcohol without flavouring. I think maybe the taste of lychee is not strong enough to cover the bitterness of liquor. RM70++ gone!

We were in SkyBar for around 2 hours. Then, I drove Dear around KL to experience the Saturday night of KL… We passed by Zouk, Bukit Bintang, KLCC, Jalan Sultan Ismail & etc etc etc... we talked & laughed in our own world... very romantic… haha…

Special thanks to kampungBoyCityGal for recommending such a great place for dining. Not to forget, thanks Dear for your company which made this Saturday night a memorable one...
