Penang trip with MeiQis - Food...

It was long long time ago since v mentioned v wana go Penang for a food trip... & finally, v made it this long weekend (National Day)... ntg much actually, keep eating nia... all nice food at BM & Penang Island, cz v got tourguide Mr. SuMiin ma...

3 monsters' (PeiLing, LuYi, KahYee) favourite phrase 'not to say hungry la, but still can eat lo'... contrast with Qristine's phrase 'Har, go eat again ar??' wheneva SuMiin ask wana go makan or not...

But very lazy to blog, just show pics can ar ??

Our 1st meal in Penang...

SuMiin's favourite Rojak... I like cz got sotong one...

Our dinner @ Tambun (if m not mistaken)... It was cheap & nice... Heard from SuMiin this restaurant was recommended by food blogger Vkeong...

This one very nice... finely fried but not too dry... mixed with the sauce very delicious...

Black pepper ketam... I nvr like dishes cook with black pepper one... don't know why... but since it's with crabs... ok la acceptable...


So so nia... the one v tried next day was better...

'Chiu zhao jeng' - Avtime people order fish in seafood restaurant, I will b like 'har, why fish?? dunwan can ar??'... but I tot this fish dish was very good... Even Dear, Luyi & me tht hate fish also ate alot... hehe...

She will only smile whn she is full...

& normally I wont take any pics on vegetables one... hehe...

The famous dried prawn mee... very nice... perfect breakfast... tht kaki ayam was superb...

Mochi not my favourite...

Like laosai rite ?? haha, but act very nice... Asam Laksa @ Kek Lok Si...

Cendol... I thk eveyone knows this...

SuMiin also brought us to try the famous fried kueyteow added with duck egg... & also special prawn mee tht Ah Xian introduced @ Astro before... also 'kuey chap'... Penang local speciality... I also super like...

Finally... went home with 25 boxes of 'dao sha beng'... can open shop adi...

Recently many frps added me in facebook... I cnt tipu them I seldom login, cnt tell them I dont want to add them... haih, no where to express my sucks feeling of working in Hospital anymore...

Just handed-in FRP application form... I still chose Hospital Serdang as my 1st choice, why ar Im also confused... I hvna admit I got no good frens in Hospital... seems cnt really get very close wif other prps... they tot I am rich, they tot I no need to work hard also can get good score in presentation & logbook... they tot Im very happy & cheerful all the time... which is so not true... Haih... when Im unhappy in hospital & come back feel like crying they will know meh?? when got prob in hospital I really dont know who shld I look for... U know how helpless it is??

Recently I dont feel like seeing any frp, talk less with them & will try to volunter to go lunch at 2pm instead of 1pm in order to avoid meeting other prps & frps... Not their problem, its my own problem... maybe I feel uncomfortable after the incident lastweek... Tht unhappy feeling is even stronger after my long-Penang-weekend wif MeiQis & come back to work... Please, please let me forget about the incident happened on me in hospital last week...

Next week research presentation, please pray hard for me I dont have to re-do it again... I dont know what m I doing, my supervisor dont help me much, guess she not even know what I am doing also... but shldn't blame her also she is a very busy person... I am very worried...

p/s: Besides, finally sthg happy happened in hospital... heard from my boss I got highest score for Clinical among prps... ok I admit they dont know how to judge cz other prps all better than me...

If I dont have to re-do my research, I will blog about our Penang trip & Tenji night next weekend... blog sthg happy is better then telling all these nonsense...

It was saturday evening and v r sick of going to shopping malls. For a change, we went to putrajaya cause i have not been to the lake. so random, i know. haha. Walking around the lake reminded me of the park we used to go in Bukit Jalil. Oh, how i miss those days! Sobs.

After dinner, we went for a movie. Wanted to watch UP but ended up watching G.I. Joe because no more seats available. Sigh!

Im so looking forward to our trip to Penang! haha.

Cendol, asam laksa, prawn mee, etc.... just by thinking of it, i feel hungry. *wink*

Just when I finished my nightshift, came home & finished my beautiful breakfast plus newspaper reading, sthg horrible happened...

Wanted to call frens out for lunch or sthg bt whr on Earth do people free now jek... Ended up went to watch movie alone @ Jusco Balakong... I smore bought popcorn & softdrink... people were like pity me of dont have any fren... ishh...

Been came across this movie from newspaper afew times cz people said Aaron Kwok's new show copied the story line from this movie... Not a bad show tho, that main actress's acting was damned good... Isabelle Fuhrman, only 12 years old if m not mistaken...

Anniversary... the best reason to eat more...

Last Friday that was... Visited TGIF again made me think of our 1st month anniversary back in June 2006... V dont have a car that time, squeezed into monorail after lectures... walked into TGIF Bkt. Bintang with sweat, ordered a 3 course meal & a bottomless drink shared btw us due to tight budget... after that cant stay too long cz v need to catch public transport agn...

But Dear will nvr complain, she understand my condition & stime she rather eat KFC with me to celebrate wateva thg... such a wonderful gf...

After 3 years, v r still as loving as before... but now I got car adi, Dear dont hvna b so sanfu anymore... v can eat wateva v want without the need to calculate this & tht... However, Im very happy to eat wateva food no matter exp or cheap as long as Dear is with me...


Was in very good mood that night, despite in traffic jam for 2 hrs...

Now v can order 2 drinks... no need to share one bottomless anymore... lol...

I see couples around us ordered one 2 course meal to share... but v were damn greedy die die also want to order 2x 2course meal...

Appertizers: No salad as usual... Dear said: U order la, I dont want to eat...

Boneless chicken...

Cheese + noodles + fried sthg... so filling duno y they call this as appertizer...

Spaghetti... V ordered the same dish 3 years back during our 1st mth anniversary... hehe...

Chicken * cheese * vege... Atleast thr are some veges for me to eat...

Add on RM6 for dessert... not nice... We were too good-looking that the waiter give us one more for free (haha, beh paiseh...)

Alot of meat, thts y she was happy...

Full until want to vomit...

Wonderful outing...

Later that night we watched 'The Proposal'... luckily Dear didnt force me to propose to her... very lame hor...

Just wish to be together happily ever after... hehe... very geli...

Next day... the I-tot-it-will-be-the-most-kekok-dinner-ever is coming... cz the parents invited the two daughter's bf to have dinner together... I have never met JiaWei's bf before despite thr was a time v smiled at each other in front of Dear's house inside our own car while waiting for both Ms. Slow dot com to get ready...

But afterall, it was not as kekok as i tot it would be...

The goodlooking couple... Dear's dad said Dear & me r very practical couple, they r less practical... I dont know what he meant... Is that good or bad... curious...

Did u see the Henessy?? fuiyo I pura-pura dont like to drink... so sanfu... haha...

He was asked by us for a few times: 'whn u will bring one to have dinner together'...lol...

The dinner end liao... phew~~ lol...

But Dear & me went for dessert after that... hehe... our stomach forever got space to throw thgs in one... scary...
